I took 60mg of Accutane for two and a half months, then was bumped up to 80mg. I stopped taking Accutane after a couple weeks on the higher dosage due to severe wrist and back pain. My acne began clearing after my first month of birth control (before I even began Accutane) and was completely gone by the beginning of the second month. I haven't taken Accutane since 12/25/2014 and have not had any new breakouts or pimples. How long should I wait before beginning regular maintenance facials again?
