From the reviews that I have read, I'm kinda convinced, but I am also a little worried about getting Invisalign. Also, I have read that braces are faster. Can I switch to braces after Invisalign?

Your Invisalign dentist will be able to replace the attachment. Continue wearing your trays as normal and make an appointment. Your dentist will be able to use the tray you are wearing to make a new button. Not an emergency.
Essix retainers have been around for a long time and look identical to the invisalign retainers. I am sure invisalign could make them even after traditional ortho, but it's likely not worth the hassle. Retainers like that are often created in the office.
Teeth can be moved bodily with Invisalign, including incisors, canines, premolars and molars. It is not easy to achieve, but it all depends on how they are moved. A combination of Begg tipping principles and aligner mechanics can achieve excellent results with good patient compliance.
