I had Belotero injected into the tear troughs that causes excessive swelling. I had them dissolved, but now I notice that my eyes have hollowed out, depressed areas that look like indentations. I was under the impression that hyalase would only dissolve the fillers and not cause significant damage to myself. How long will it take to fill in again? Or will it never come back? I had the hyalase 1 month ago and no improvement.

It can take 1-2 weeks for swelling to resolve after hyaluronidase injections. Keep in mind, it can take a series of treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hyaluronidase can take effect quickly, sometimes as fast as one day. But, bruising and swelling from the injection itself (especially near the eye) can last days longer. I would give it a week before deciding whether you want/need more. Hopefully you will see resolution. Dr. Jen
