So I got a VI peel (chemical peel) 4days ago and yesterday I peeled off all my skin and now parts of my face have red peeled off patches what should I do to prevent them from scarring
Answer: VI Peel After Care--See a Doctor for recommendations I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. I recommend Silagen + Bioshield to promote healing. PDT therapy can calm inflammation. Sun protection is essential. Redness can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Vi peel Hi, thank you for your question! I would recommend keeping the irritated skin moist with aquaphor. You are going to want to keep the skin moist as it heals to prevent additional damage.

Answer: Prevent Scarring after VI Peel It is VERY important to keep this ares protected from heat and sun exposure for the next week or so. These things can cause hyperpigmention to occur. I would recommend keeping the area moist with a thin coat of Vaseline and continue to use the hydrocortisone cream 2 times a day to keep down the inflammation. SPF is an absolute must! Make sure you are reapplying every 2 hours if you are in the sun for extended periods of time. if you keep this area covered and protected you should be happy with your result!

Answer: Self peeled after Vi Peel Its been 4 days so I would imagine the lier face has already peeled, hopefully you didn't tear or sheer of healthy skin. The best you can do now is avoid any extra trauma or sun exposure. Yes the products supplied especially the steroid cream and no other products. Keep the area clean. I believe it will be alright in the long run
