What Are the Early Signs of Necrosis?

I'm developing somewhat dark coloring around my incision...almost like bruising. is the DK Color Around Incision Worrisome? I am exactly 4 Weeks postop. Please tell me the early signs of necrosis and when I'm in "the clear."

Bowling is a sport that requires use of the abdominal muscles. In my practice I asked patients to avoid activity that directly targets those muscles for three months. I would point out that I'm referring my practice so you should follow the restrictions of your surgeon.

I'm not exactly sure what this athletic creams supposed to do. I doubt that it doesn't harm. Nevertheless, as a courtesy to your plastic surgeon you should check with him or her before use.

The scars and results of the tummy tuck would not be as good as a traditional tummy tuck.  It would also probably detract from your breast augmentation results.  A tummy tuck is still the best option for abdominal skin laxity.  All the best.

This is a very uncommon finding after a tummy tuck. It may be sutures working their way out.  There may be other issues. Discuss with your surgeon and schedule and apointment to be re-examined. All the best.
