my daughter is 17 and dislikes the shape of her neck. In 8 months she will turn 18 and I know she will opt for some form of surgery to change it. She's always been fit and healthy, the problem is genetic not excess fat. Me being a parent- I want to be involved as much as possible and wondered is there was any possibility for her having surgery at the age of 17 with parental consent? There is no problem mentally, she has a high self-esteem and is confident, she just does not like her neck at all.
