Effective Combo Treatments for Actinic Keratosis?

I'm a 60 yr. old critical care nurse. Never ill. I have one actinic keratosis spot on my cheek. My MD Derm gave me Px for 5FU bid for 3 wks, C Cortisone to follow. What other Rx or combos for A.K. have you had good kill rate, low scarring,& low recurrence with? Thank you
