SmartLipo

What it is: SmartLipo is a device used in laser-assisted lipolysis -- which means that a laser is used to melt or dissolve fat cells, followed by suction to remove it. The laser component of SmartLipo may provide skin tightening in addition to fat removal.

Cool Lipo™ is indicated for spot reduction of stubborn fat pockets, and so is Smartlipo. Cool Lipo is also indicated for skin tightening, whether or not you have fatty areas to be treated.

For example, if you lose a lot of weight and have resulting lax, hanging skin, Cool Lipo can be performed to tighten up this skin. No laser lipolysis needs to be done in this instance.
