had a rhinoplasty done 13 months ago and the outcome is that a have a lot of tip scar tissue and nasal exposure and maybe a slightly hanging columella. My doctor is recommending I refine the tip and everything else will balance out, but I feel that my nostrils have been pulled back and up so much they need to be addressed! with the size of my nostrils, I fear too much tip reduction will make them even more disproportionately large. What is the correct approach: alarplasty? Tip refine?

Hi Celebrated5879! Likely if your tip turns blue in cold weather, blood flow has decreased to the area. Hyperbaric oxygen is a great modality--this can deliver more oxygen to the tissues allowing them to heal. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Hi @Intellectual429811. Thank you for sharing your photos. I recommend seeing an expert revision rhinoplasty specialist for an in person examination. There are options for you that can be determined after examination.
Best of luck,
Dr. Nima
