Dear Biged11543~Sometimes during septoplasty deviated portions of bone have to be removed along the bottom portion of your septum (the maxillary crest). The nerves to your teeth travel in this area and can be affected by the surgery. Occasionally patients have sensation changes to their upper teeth after septoplasty, although they usually describe numbness or tingling rather than burning.
