I'm 39 years old. I have noticed this past couple of years that I'm getting that "turkey neck" & my lower face is getting more & more droopy & I'm getting jowels. Am I too young for a full facelift?? Would a mini facelift help or a neck lift??
Answer: Am I too young for a Facelift?? (photos) Hello Corinaj! Thank you for your question and photo. In most people the process of aging begins in their late 20s, and the signs of it become perceptible by 30-35. By aging, people starts to lose facial volume, that cause appearing the folds, furrows and facial lines, sometime "marionette lines". By the age of 55 -60 years these changers are permanent already, that are difficult to correct with a facelift alone. We should take in mind the general rule, which states that prevention is always easier than correction. Taking action early, in your 40’s or 50’s, will help prevent these permanent changes. In other words, if a 39-year old woman isn't happy about his appearance and thinks non-surgical treatments don't work for him, then he becomes a candidate for a facelift. On the other hand, it's difficult to tell from your photo whether a full facelift is a good match for you at this point. Maybe only SMAS lifting focusing on cheeks, jowls and neck will be enough. Or more. I need to see your full face photos and I need to review your photos from different angles. I hope this helps Best

Answer: Am I too young for a facelift? There is really not an age limit for a facelift. If you are experiencing early signs of aging then addressing this with surgical or non-surgical techniques can help you achieve a longer lasting result and essentially slow the aging process. Surgeons can be qualified for a variety of reasons, but you can help select one with the following info:Board Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgeonsnot ..... Answer: Surgical versus nonsurgical options for the aging face. 39 is a bit early for a facelift. This does not mean that it's totally out of the question. The photograph is not particularly informative. I have given up on noninvasive skin tightening which might be recommended to you by others. I think consultation with a well experienced plastic surgeon who can explain you your options is the best place to start.

Answer: Am I too young for a Facelift Thank you for your question and photo. The photo is limited, and an in person examination would be beneficial to provide the best treatment course for you. Treatment modalities would include a mini face lift, botox and fillers, fat transfer, laser resurfacing, or a combination. Consult with a board certified Plastic Surgeon. Best WIshes.
