I'm a 52 yr old fair, blue eyed female w/ sun damaged skin. Positive AK spots. Had liquid nitrogen in the past.

I'm on Day 5 from receiving PDT & Levulan (90 min) under blue light (4 minutes) on face. It was the most PAINFUL experience under the blue light! Like a million bee stings & burning all at once. I had a reaction & immediately was swollen & red. (I'm allergic to a lot of topical medicines to treat acne). I also burn & blister when in the sun. Why did I have this reaction? Will I have it again when they treat my chest area?
