I am 4 weeks post and I've only lost one inch. At what point during recovery will the Most volume be lost? There seems to be a lot of different opinions about when the final results are. But I'm mostly just curious as to at what point the most volume is lost during the healing process?

Answer: Volume after Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) Thanks for your inquiry. There are no straight answers for this question, as every patient is different, and add to that the fact that every surgery is different in terms of the technique, the amount of fat used, and other technical and, of course, anatomical variables. At 6 weeks, however, it is safe to say that most of the fluid that was invariably injected along with the purified fat, has been absorbed. It is probably the time when the best results could still be seen. Over the next several months, though, you can expect a gradual decrease in the volume of the buttocks. And hey, maybe you can be one the those special patients that manage to keep most of the fat. You just never know. Hope this helps, and good luck.
