Is 43 too young for a mini face lift?

Obviously, the question of "what" is easy, the questions of "why" and "when" are more difficult. Basically, as we age a number of things happen to our faces. One of them is that the tissue under the skin begins to drop with gravity. This gives you the typical jowl look. Later, your skin starts to loosen and you get the jowling along with the loose skin. During this, you can also get some extra neck skin that starts to loosen. Everyone is different. Everyone has different times when these start to occur. Now, what about the facelift. 1) A "mini" facelifts main goal is to make a small incision and pull up on some of the jowling. That is it. Other non-surgical options to this include radiofrequency skin tightening, fillers and botox. 2) Standard Facelift - The purpose of this is to pull the jowls, get rid of some extra skin and typically treat the neck and jaw line.There are many other small additions to a facelift as well and I wont get into that. I typically advise young people to try non-surgical solutions first as the risk is lower.
