I had my implants removed 4 days ago under general anesthesia, no capsule removed, nor no drains put after surgery. I informed my surgeon that my left breast felt uncomfortable and he said because my muscle had a fold. What exactly does that mean? Will it harm or make me look deformed later? He prescribed muscles relaxers.

The scar or capsule will remain. I don't perform partial capsulectomy in patients who are having explants. They either have all of the capsule removed or none. Usually if they have no capsule removed I can have them improve their volume with fat grafting.

Did you have a complete capsulectomy? Extensive scarring that requires aggressive removal of the capsule can create swelling that takes a long period of time to resolve. Working with a therapist would be helpful.
