Can an injection of lidocaine and epinephrine around the lip cause permanent damage after Fraxel resurfacing? (Photos)

Asked By:arhelisek in Brooklyn, NY

2 days ago I had a fraxel laser resurfacing done to a scar right below my lip and the dermatologist injected the area with lidocaine and ephinepherine. My lip blew up and became very swollen and has not gone down for 48 hours straight. I got a shot of Benadryl and am on steroids but neither are helping so we have ruled out infection or allergic reaction. The doctors say they don't know what to do or how to fix it. Please help!!!
