I took accutane from Feb-June 2011 after years of severe acne on my face. Afterwards, my skin was absolutely flawless -- but now, almost a year later, I've had a really bad breakout. The initial zits cleared up, but they took a long time to heal and there are still faint red marks on my skin where they used to be. I also have more zits breaking out. My skin is also much oilier than it has been. Is this normal and expected? Or should I return to my dermatologist for another accutane course?

You can stop your Accutane but you should definitely realize that taking it for only one month isn't going to have much of an effect on your acne, at all, and you shouldn't expect any change in your acne. As long as you understand that, you can stop taking it.
Accutane has no affect on semen and therefore is fine for men to take while trying to have a baby with their partners. It's only unsafe for the fetus and causes deformities, but none of these have been shown to have any affect on males and semen, so you are fine to keep trying to have a baby...
