Blurry vision after septoplasty and turbinate reduction: Is it temporary?

Any post care questions should be directed towards your surgeon immediately.  In general, blurry vision after a nasal procedure typically represents a reduction in drainage from the tears through the nasolacrimal duct system.  This occurs occasionally after procedures around the nose and typically resolves within a week.  However, there are rarer cases of abnormal vision as a result of a nasal procedure (even blindness) which is thought to occur by the injection of local anesthetic rather than the procedure itself.
