My son, 16 yrs old, has appointment with dermatologist next week to discuss starting Accutane treatment. Does he have to stop using the topical treatments (Retin A, amalactin) for any time period before starting Accutane?

It's probably not a good idea to wax your skin while on Accutane. Your skin becomes much more sensitive from the medication.As for BCP, I'm not the guy to ask. You need to speak with your OB/GYN.
