I'm 37 & had #16, 17 & 18 extracted. Bone graft & dental implant #18. The left side of my face has gotten thinner over time but since my extractions 6 mnths ago, it's profound. Oral surgeon says it's not noticeable & face shouldn't change with #16 & 17 missing, only from 18 inwards. He says it's muscle loss from not chewing on left side which should correct. Primary dentist said face loss is noticeable & it's due to not having a #16 tooth. Do I need more implants? Will I ever look normal again?
