What Can I Do About Acne on the Back and Chest?

OTC there are a variety of Benzoyl peroxide soaps (Panoxyl Bar (R) etc) that can be used in the shower or bath for mild to moderate acne.  Leave-on benzoyl peroxide products are useful but will bleach colored fabric. Oral  and topical antibiotics are also useful and require prescription.  The most effective treatment is Isotretinoin, a 20 week closely supervised, prescription program which requires birth control in childbearing aged women.  more
