Mini tummy tuck or Smartlipo, really depends....

John Philip Di Saia, MD answers: Smart Lipo or mini-tummy tuck?

I'm 33 years old and have three kids all naturally birthed (no c-section).  I am 5 feet tall, 120lbs and in my lower abdomen I have some pockets of fat. It's noticeable when I sit down, it's not saggy, but it certainly doesn't look good.

Do you think I would be a better candidate for Smart Lipo or for a mini tummy tuck?

Hello, The real question here is what do you want addressed. If your problem is primarily fat and you are looking to be "thinner," then liposuction may do well here. If you have loose skin and muscle from the pregnancies you mentioned and want to be "tighter" not just "thinner," then you might want to consider a tummy tuck of some sort. These things are best considered as a matter of degrees.
