Silicone gel may help scars

I had an upper and lower eye bag removal 6 weeks ago. Now I have a visible scar below my right lower eyelash. My surgeon gave me a silcone gel and said to see him again in 3 months. Will this silcone gel sort the problem out?

Studies have shown that silicone is the only topical treatment that may improve the appearance of scars. There are different kinds of silicone on the market but it doesn't matter which one you use. I recommend it for most of my patients. So, give it a try.
