Many answers here addressed important points.  While it is impossible to guarantee no bruising, there are things we can do to significantly minimize bruising.  Aspirin, vitamin E products, and Nonsteroidal anti inflammatory medicine (ie Motrin) should be stopped ideally 2 wks before the procedure.  An experienced surgeon also will be able to properly inject fillers and Botox which will also help lower risk of bruising.  An important point is when a bruise develops during injection, quick pressure to the area will limit the bruise and minimize the duration one has a bruise.  Finally, application of ice after the procedure will also help.

 Thanks for the question -

Of course much of the chances of getting significant bruising after injection can be technique dependent.  Avoiding major arteries, staying in the appropriate plane and using proper injection technique can help to avoid bruising.

Additionally, in our San Francisco area office we use cool compresses prior to injection to constrict the blood vessels and decrease the amount of bleeding.  Also, careful history taking to make sure our patients aren't on aspirin or other blood thinners.

Even small things like making sure our patients are comfortable and confident (which lowers stress, lowering blood pressure and lowering chances of bruising) can make a big difference.

Find a good practitioner who has good experience and you feel comfortable with.

The process should never feel rushed.

I hope this helps.
