Cost for liposuction

Christopher L. Hess, MD answers: Liposuction for love handles and mid-section fat cost?

I would like to have Liposuction on just my love handles and a little on the mid-section. I was wondering about cost? I am 70 or 71 inches tall and weigh 94 kilos. I'm 67 years old and in good physical condition other than a bad lower back. Thank you.

You will find that there can be significant differences in prices between areas of the country and within the same city.  I charge $6200-$6900 for two areas of liposuction.  The difference in cost is the OR/anesthesia as it depends on how much fat you have to be remove.  At your size you're probably on the low end.

With that said, for God's sake do not choose your surgery based on price!  This is a huge mistake.  You must connect to your surgeon.  He/she must be someone you trust, has educated you and you feel like a partner in the decision making process.  See several surgeons or as many as you need until you find the one that you have a good fit with.
