No good way to re-shape breasts without surgery

Armando Soto, MD answers: Is there a non-surgical Breast Lift procedure?

My breasts are very saggy for my age. I just turned 20, and I was wondering if there is any way to lift them without surgery. I am a 32D.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no way to lift or re-shape the breasts without a procedure of some kind. Breast drooping results from a loss of balance between the skin, breast tissues, and chest wall, and therefore, restoration of this balance requires adding breast material (implants), removing skin (a breast lift procedure), or a combination of these.

While this can certainly seem daunting, in healthy women the procedures are usually short and easy, and very low risk. Having said all of that, I think it is very unlikely that at your young age, you would need more than a minor procedure to achieve the look you want.

Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon you like and feel you can work with and discuss your goals with them. You may find the path to your desired breast contour is easier than you think. Good Luck!
