Examples of Non-srugical rhinoplasty

Otto Joseph Placik, MD answers: Do nonsurgical nose jobs work?

I am unhappy with my nose, but I can't afford rhinoplasty surgery.  I am considering a non-surgical option but don't know much about it other than that it is supposed to be less expensive than plastic surgery.  What exactly is a non-surgical nose job?  Do the results last?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a procedure where a filler is injected into the nose in an effort to make it appear better in appearance. The limits of a non-surgical rhinoplasty are that it can only add volume to a nose and do so for a limited duration. Permanent fillers are not recommended anywhere, especially the nose. A permanent filler is almost impossible to remove from the nose and can result in granulomas, pain and swelling, and poor aesthetic appearance. Your best bet is to wait until you can afford rhinoplasty and chose a qualified rhinoplasty surgeon.
