Kirk Moore, MD
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Kirk Moore is a board-certified plastic surgeon at the Plastic Surgery Institute of Utah, a premiere private practice in Midvale, Utah serving the greater Salt Lake City area. Dr Moore offers a full range of aesthetic enhancements for the breast, body, face, skin, and hair, including NeoGraft hair restoration. “My practice strives to help women and men understand all of their options for improving physical or cosmetic issues,” says Dr. Moore. “Our scope of service includes medical and structural issues such as rhinoplasty to address nasal problems, as well as procedures like mommy makeovers to address areas that have undergone profound change.” Dr. Moore specializes in a rapid-recovery breast augmentation technique he developed, to get his patients back to their normal lives within 48 hours. “The less disruption to someone’s lifestyle, the better off they are,” says Dr. Moore. “A lot of women put off having the procedure because they don’t want to be down for two to three weeks, and my motivation was to help avoid that.” His innovative, virtually pain-free approach to creating beautiful, natural-looking breasts is safer and simpler than traditional surgical methods and significantly minimizes discomfort. After receiving his master’s degree in human physiology at Hahnemann University, Dr. Moore earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. He then completed a residency in general surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, and another in plastic surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Moore is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He performs all procedures in his private, AAAASF-accredited operating room. This recognition means that he’s able to provide services that are on par with those performed at qualified hospitals. Fluent in Italian and proficient in both Spanish and French, Dr. Moore regularly welcomes patients who travel from all over the country to seek his experienced, personalized care. He offers a three-day program for out-of-town patients that he personally designed.

My left breast seems to have settled way quicker than my right

Hello, I am thrilled about my breast surgery and I trusted my surgeon 100%. When I went in for my consultation, I figured I would need a lift as well as breast augmentation. In assessing my breasts and doing the calculations Dr. Moore, advised that he thinks by going over the muscle, moderate profile we could avoid a lift and the extra scarring and recovery time. So I agreed and went through...

He gives mothers a body they would normally only dream of anywhere else

Day one. If you have given birth this is a breeze as far pain wise. Mr.Moore was accommodating to my family with his team offering snacks and keeping everyone on my end happy while in surgery. I was assisted to my vehicle and the person driving me home/assisting me home was given a mini lesson of how to best take care of my needs. Not more than 20 minutes after leaving someone from the team...

2 weeks post-op liposuction & starting to feel back to normal

I can't tell you how impressed I am with Dr. Moore and his staff. I had a great consultation and he was honest and explained everything. I booked my surgery and was excited for the day to come. My surgery was scheduled for the afternoon and I was in great hands the moment I walked into the office. Once I was back in the exam room, Dr. Moore came right in and went over everything once again. I...

5,7 140lbs Sientra 440cc High Profile

I have wanted breast aug for 10+ years. I finally did it for my 31st birthday/Christmas! When I was 20 I lost 60lbs and they never looked the same after. I was a D long time ago and the past few years a B with extra skin and sagging. I hated my boobs for the longest time. I’ve also competed in fitness competitions and it made them pretty much non existent. I wore thick inserts in my sports b...

Dr. Kirk Moore is a boob wizard

I wanted boobs for a long time. To be honest, I diddnt know what size, what type, or anything about implants. Dr Moore helped me determine that I wasn't someone who needed or wanted huge obnoxious fake boobs, I more liked the "look". Anyways, staff was amazing and down to earth while being professional. I've seen some reviews on here that the "rapid recovery" is BS. Well not for me! If you...

Q: Why does only acetone help chemical peels for my skin?
Answered by Dr. MooreSeptember 16, 2019

A: The use of acetone should always be incorporated into the chemical peel treatment. It allows your skin to fully degrease so that the peel can drive deeper into the skin and become more effective. If you are using isopropyl it will still clean the skin but not fully degrease it so the peel might not drive as deep and not be as effective.

Best wishes!

Q: Does TCA Cross work well for englarged pores?
Answered by Dr. MooreSeptember 16, 2019

A: The actual size of your pores cannot change however, you can change the appearance of the pores. Chemical peels are a great way to minimize the appearance of the pores. TCA will help the overall tone and texture of your skin which will then make your pores appear smaller.

Best wishes!

Q: Is my BWD too large for the recommended implant size? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. MooreAugust 7, 2019

A: For the best answer it is always best to have a Plastic Surgeon measure you and go from there. Seems you will get good results though. Good luck

Q: Are Sientra textured implants linked to ALCL?
Answered by Dr. MooreAugust 7, 2019

A: I only use textured Sientra implants and have not heard anything about it being linked to ALCL. Keep doing check ups with your Plastic Surgeon on regular check ups.

Q: How do I know if I'm rubbing my forehead too hard after Botox? I'm so worried when I wash my face/moisturize about moving things
Answered by Dr. MooreMarch 7, 2019

A: Hello, This is a great question. I advise for patients to wait 4-8 hours to avoid strenuous activity. Such activity including washing of the face and applying moisturizer should not be a problem to do at night. However just avoid aggressive massage, etc. but a simple task of face washing and moisturizer should not be a problem. Hope this is helpful.
