Growing up I was always made fun of my legs and my chest. I have big quads from playing soccer and no chest… I never felt like a woman. I always told myself ‘one day I will feel like a women’. After having my last child and completing my family, I finally decided at 36, that for my 37th birthday I would finally do something for me. I’ve researched through the years, asked all my friends...
I'm a 36 yr old mother of two, I'm about 5'7, 120lbs slender build. Iv always had small boobs and especially after breastfeeding my two kids, it left me even smaller. I'm about 32/34A although I wonder if I'm more AA since I don't fill out my bra cups very much. I'm going to SouthBay Plastic surgeons and Dr Jewell is amazing, her and her staff have been more than helpful and understanding! We...
I wasn’t planning on going crazy with reviews till after I heal but I had my surgery with Dr Jewell yesterday. I had a lift plus saline implants. I’ve always had asymmetric breasts. Different cup sizes even. And after breastfeeding twins and being left with droopy, empty feeling breasts I knew I wanted the surgery. She was the only doctor I met who felt confident about not leaving a ver...
A: An abdominoplasty with a diastasis repair and liposuction of your waistline (including the back) will achieve a nice hour-glass contour. Breast implants will raise the position of your nipples a bit, but not enough to place them in the center of the breast mound (ideal). So my recommendation for your breasts is a breast lift with or without an implant.
A: From the photos you shared, a tummy tuck with liposuction will definitely improve the contour of your abdomen. It is hard to know whether or not you have a diastasis that needs repair without an exam, but since you have never had children, it is unlikely you have one. It is also difficult to tell if you have lower abdominal skin excess or stretch marks. If you don't, then liposuction alone may achieve your goal. If your goal is to have larger breasts, then a breast augmentation will achieve that goal, although it looks like you have good breast volume and a breast lift alone will re-distribute your breast volume into a more youthful position.
A: If you are otherwise healthy and are unhappy with how your abdomen looks, then yes, you are a great candidate for a tummy tuck. I recommend that my patients are within 10 lbs of their goal weight prior to surgery. You want to avoid losing a lot of weight AFTER your tummy tuck because this may result in more loose skin, so try to be as close to your goal weight as possible prior to surgery.
A: Hopefully your primary care doctor has seen your lab results and will follow up with you to determine why your calcium and other labs are abnormal. Your calcium is only slightly elevated, but can be a sign of problems with your parathyroid glands. High serum calcium can impact your heart function as well.
A: You can definitely avoid a breast lift if you have implants because the implants will lift your breasts somewhat. You will have a very natural looking result without a lift. You are not a great candidate for a "mini" tummy tuck though because of the amount of damaged skin you have around and below your belly button. My recommendation would be a full tummy tuck.
