My Experience with Dr. Lynam Exceeded Expectations!

Dr. Lynam is an excellent Plastic Surgeon who is always extremely thorough, compassionate, and understanding. Admittedly, I haven't always been the easiest patient. I often long for the days when my life was simpler, but even if I've been a considerable pain, he has never made me feel like a problem patient. Dr. Lynam has the incredible ability to make me feel deeply understood and to c...

My breasts look healthy, lifted, natural, and even full

After years of wearing breast implants I decided to get my implants removed and get a breast lift. I searched all over Richmond for a qualified doctor with extensive experience performing this procedure, and I’m so happy I found Dr Lynam. He did an excellent job! after almost a year of performing my procedure my breast look healthy, lifted, natural, and even full. He listened to my c...

I am so incredibly happy with my aftercare, my results, and even my incisions.

Dr. Lynam and his entire team exceeded all of my expectations when it came to my breast augmentation. We “tried on” different sizes at the consultation and came up with the right size for me. I am 135 lbs, originally a 34A and breastfed two children. We decided to go with 330cc silicone implants that brought me up to a 36C, sometimes D depending on the bra. I really liked that every ste...

They made me feel heard and validated

I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Dr. Lynam and his staff are top notch. Their bedside manner was amazing and I never felt like just another patient. They made me feel heard and validated and really made this entire experience a breeze. Dr. Lynam was personable and comforting and really went out of his way to make me feel confident. I would recommend them for any procedure!

Q: Breast augmentation results are uneven - is it fair to be disappointed? (photos)
Answered by Dr. LynamNovember 13, 2023

A: It is great to see two sets of post op pictures since you have improved over time. The right breast implant pocket seems a bit low to start and the left too high. At this point in time if you like the left side better then your doctor could raise the right breast fold. I hope this helps, Good Luck!

Q: What can I do about implants that are too big for my frame?
Answered by Dr. LynamNovember 13, 2023

A: Replacing with smaller implants is possible. You have likely good skin elasticity and going down to 350cc should work out fine. Please ask you plastic surgeon since you may need some of the lateral pocket tightened. Good Luck!

Q: Mons pubis too high after tummy tuck - advice? (photos)
Answered by Dr. LynamAugust 10, 2023

A: You may have had not enough skin for a traditional tummy tuck that keeps the scar about 7-8 cv above the top edge of the vulvar commissure. The two options then are to move the scar higher or to create a midline vertical scar which does have a higher healing problem but is what I prefer to do since then all the scar is hidden by a bathing suit except 1-2 inches coming straight up the middle which is not much of a cosmetic concern. It is unlikely that you have enough laxity to move your scar lower. Good Luck!

Q: If I choose an implant that has a greater width that my BWD, will that be wide enough to cover my frame? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. LynamAugust 10, 2023

A: "side boob" can be achieved by a wider implant as well as by a fuller profile. It is a balance and an implant in the 12-13 cm diameter should be fine for you. Good luck!

Q: Can a minor donut lift revision be done if there is a permanent suture inside?
Answered by Dr. LynamAugust 10, 2023

A: I would get you chart including all notes and pictures and consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good Luck!
