I started my career as a Registered Nurse, BSN, in 1980 while working in the operating room spent the next 14 years working throughout the United States as a surgical nurse in the O.R. In 1994 I moved to Kansas City where I transitioned to aesthetic nursing and spent the next 13 years as a private scrub nurse working alongside internationally recognized surgeon, Dr. Ted Lockwood. During this time I continued to broaden my love for aesthetics and obtained my aestheticians license and began training as a Nurse Injector. After relocating to Arizona in 2015 I joined Dr. Shapiro’s practice where I worked as his private surgical nurse and in 2018 became one of his full time Nurse Injectors. I was able to bring my aesthetic vision to use by restoring and enhancing patients natural beauty with neurotoxins and dermal fillers. I proudly hold a CANS (Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist) certification and am a member of ISPAN (International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses).

I am a licensed Aesthetician and Certified Medical Laser Technician and I fell in love with skincare after my first facial when I was 18 years old. I began my career as an aesthetician at the widely known Elizabeth Grady Face First Salon in Boston where I grew my portfolio of services, managed a team of aestheticians and became the District Manager of their Eastern locations. After transitioning to Arizona I accepted a position at Rolf’s salon where I had a 10 year employment offering an extensive list of skincare services while re-structuring and managing their skin service salon. During this time I was published in Allure Magazine’s May issue for being one of the best hair removal experts and providing the best Brazilian wax in the country. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Shapiro in 2004 and when presented with the opportunity to be one of his first full time aestheticians for the Paradise Valley Skin Klinic™ I was honored to join his team and work alongside his dedicated staff.

I am a licensed Aesthetician, Certified Medical Laser Technician and Licensed Massage Therapist. I began my career in medical aesthetics in 2000 and in 2007 joined Dr. Shapiro’s team at the Paradise Valley Skin Klinic™. I enjoy all aspects of the industry but have become extremely fond of the treatment and results you get from providing the most up to date laser techniques. Throughout my time as an Aesthetician I have gained extensive experience and training with energy based treatments including IPL, Radio-Frequency, Ultherapy, and fractional laser resurfacing. Some of my most proud accomplishments including completion of the “Laser Treatments of Color” course provided by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, being recognized as a member of the Aesthetics Leadership Community by Obagi in 2014 and being awarded a “Game Changing Finalist” in the nationwide Skin Games competition in 2016.

I am a licensed Aesthetician, Certified Medical Laser Technician and Certified Permanent Make-Up Artist and have been in the aesthetic industry since 2000. I joined the Paradise Valley Skin Klinic™ in 2006 and never looked back! It is such a beautiful environment here and I am so proud to be a part of a team of such experienced professionals. I love helping my clientele look and feel their best and am passionate about improving skin health through appropriate skin maintenance and customized treatments. I treat a variety of skin conditions including acne, pigmentation, anti-aging, skin tightening, tone, texture and contouring as well as permanent makeup to provide a natural look to enhance facial features. I have advanced training and certifications in a number of procedures, peels, lasers, medical devices and technologies as well as extensive product knowledge. I hope to always continue to learn and grow with this field and strive to provide the best care to all of my clients.
