Love Dr. Shapiro - very happy with the result

Dr. Shapiro and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable during my journey. He was transparent about what I needed, on every detail and expectation from my surgery. Both my husband and I are very happy with the result!!!

Happy I finally went through with it - pleased with the results

I had a great experience with Dr Shapiro and his entire staff. I initially went to see him for a different procedure on my neck however he recommended a neck lift to give me the results I was looking for. I debated about this procedure for a while and I’m happy I finally went through with it. I’m very pleased with the results and would recommend him to others looking to have this procedure.

Kind, Talented, and Natural Results

Dr. Shapiro is the kindest, most talented physician. There isn’t anywhere else I’d trust my face! He listens, cares, and doesn’t “overdo” anything. I wanted a subtle refresh and had been “oversold” suggestions for bigger procedures in consultations with other doctors. After more than a year of considering, I finally made the decision and went with Dr. Shapiro. A year later, and I could not be ...

Amazing Results! I Look 20 Years Younger!

My experience with Dr Shapiro was wonderful. He took the time during my consultation to explain what he would do and why to get the results I wanted. Dr. Shapiro and his surgical team did a great job of making me comfortable on surgery day! The staff at the post op facility were fantastic! Here it is one year later and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

Ethnic rhinoplasty 3 years ago - perfect, lifted button nose

Had this done in 2020 (it wont let me put a date before 2021 on realself) best choice of my life! i asked for a "perfect" lifted button nose that would still fit my profile. he used cartilage from the side of my head for the depression in my nose right between my eyes. minimal scars on my nose and none on my head. one of my permanent threads came out about a year or 2 ago (~2021 or 2022) which...

Q: Do you have to use hydroquinone before and after non-ablative laser resurfacing to get results?
Answered by Dr. ShapiroOctober 23, 2017

A: Thank you for your inquiry regarding  laser. It is ideal if you can use a combination of Retin A and Hydroquinone to prep the skin before any type of laser. However, if your skin is reacting to the Hydroquinone which is a bleaching type product to reduce brown spots ,I recommend to stop it and continue using just the Retin A. I would still plan on doin the non-ablative laser.

Good luck

Q: I am allergic to eggs, what are the alternatives to botox?

Q: How long does the results of Kybella last?
Answered by Dr. ShapiroJanuary 20, 2017

A: Kybella results are long lasting unlike Botox and dermal fillers. Kybella is created from Deoxycholic acid, an organic chemical found in the human body. While the fat cells are dissolved with Kybella, healthy tissues remain unharmed. Once Kybella is placed in the predetermined areas of submental fat, the body will slowly dissolve and metabolizes these cells, slowly sculpting and tightening below the chin.

Q: Original eyelashes are straight. If using Latisse dose it helps to curl them?
Answered by Dr. ShapiroNovember 4, 2015

A: Latisse is a prescription medication to make your eyelashes longer, fuller and darker. Latisse does not help curl the lashes.

Q: So what if I stop using Latisse? Will my eyelashes go back to what they were before using latisse?
Answered by Dr. ShapiroSeptember 24, 2015

A: Upon discontinuation of treatment, eyelash growth is expected to return to its pre-treatment level. Latisse must be used consistently to keep your lashes long and full.
