My sun damage is gone and my face looks years younger
I see TAMA at Mirabile MD. I have done IPL with her. I did 2 rounds on my face because I grew up on a lake and had a lot of sun damage. My face is now spot-free, freckle-free. A: Adding any kind of volume enhancement to the chin area, such as dermal filler, would further accentuate the area. If your profile is bothersome, you could consider plastic surgery. There are surgical options available that can reshape the chin area. Best of luck to you!
A: A chin dermal filler treatment might be a good place to start. Chin filler (also known as liquid chin implant) can help improve the definition of your chin area and could, in turn, address some of your other concerns. For chin filler, we typically recommend Juvederm Voluma, one to two syringes. Best of luck!
A: The PICO Genesis laser procedure uses a non-thermal laser that won't cause damage to surrounding tissue and works by destroying the pigment, leaving your skin clearer and giving you a more even complexion.
Darkening of melasma is not normal nor common after PICO Genesis.
I would recommend using a topical skin lightener of at least 5% hydroquinone on the area and would also seek medical advice to make sure there are no contributing factors to your condition. Sun block protection of both UVA and UVB rays is always essential and must be used properly with multiple reapplications throughout the day.

A: Dermaplaning is an excellent, no downtime safe procedure removing vellus hair and exfoliating dead skin. There is no truth to a thickening of hair after treatments. Results are outstanding and patients are extremely pleased with results. Hair growth nor thickness is affected by the procedure.

A: While changes are often noticeable within 3 months of treatment, full results are not typically expected until 8-12 months post treatment. Because Ultherapy is stimulating your body's own natural collagen production, the results are not immediate and results do take time.
