The scars are nearly invisible 1 month post op

I'm 5'4 and 130 lbs ish. Love my 415/450 cc HP natrelle gummy implants by Dr. Mooty. Nursed/pumped for 3 babies and left with deflated, saggy B cups "bags of skin" or fried egg boob. Now 34 DD or DDD. So sexy yet I can downplay them in work clothes so they aren't the first thing you see when you look at me. They can be the star of the show or a hidden asset and love that they're the perfect...

I Had Such a GREAT Experience with Dr. Mooty

I had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Mooty and I am IN LOVE with them. My consultation went so well. All my questions were answered and the staff is so sweet and helpful. Dr. Mooty listened to what I wanted and made me feel very comfortable and I was very anxious about the procedure in general but he assured me everything would be ok. And I’m glad I trusted him to do my procedure because I...

Highly recommend Dr. Schmid to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon!

I had breast aug with Dr. Schmid back in 2014 and loved my results. After having my second child however, I decided I needed a mommy make over. I of course chose Dr. Schmid for this surgery. I’m only two days post op and despite the swelling I am completely blown away by my results! Amazing surgeon and the staff is the absolute best! My nurse Danielle was the sweetest! She helped me w...

Q: Why is my right breast higher but the nipple is lower even after scar tissue was released? How can this be solved? (photos)
Answered by Dr. MootyFebruary 13, 2020

A: elliemae,

Your photos do show a fair degree of breast asymmetry.  Your left breast is too low and as a result makes your left nipple seem high.   I would suggest a revision to your left capsule to raise/support the implant in a better more symmetrical position.  The right breast may benefit revisional surgery as well.   This will be better assessed during an in person consultation.   I encourage you to discuss these concerns with your surgeon or seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Q: Can Costochondritis cause complications during surgery?
Answered by Dr. MootyAugust 20, 2019

A: Costochondritis should not be effected chronically with a breast augmentation.  The pain may be increased initially after surgery but once appropriate time has passed after surgery the symptomatology should resolve or at the least return to baseline.  I encourage you to seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Q: Is it okay to drive immediately after getting Botox treatments around my eyes?
Answered by Dr. MootyApril 12, 2019

A: Cheriedjb,

Botox has little immediate effect.  There may be very mild swelling at the injection for a few minutes but nothing that should cause visual obstruction.  The actual effect of Botox can take up to 7-10days.  Even at that point, it’s very unusual someone would have any visual obstruction such that they couldn’t continue daily activities.  Hope this helps.

Q: If I'm a 38i in a bra size what's the smallest size I can go down to with a reduction and a lift? No implants.
Answered by Dr. MootyApril 10, 2019

A: A breast reduction can make a significant improvement for a patient both in the way they look and relief from the symptoms related to enlarged breasts.  During consultation, breast measurements will be made to assess the shape of the breast and importantly the positioning of the native nipple areola complexity.  These measurements give direction to the capability of the reduction amount that will ensure good blood supply for the nipple.  Some patients will require a free nipple graft.  These differing approaches will make more sense during an in person consultation.  At that time, the surgeon should give you direction to what size you could become.  Make sure to ask to review before and after photographs so you and the surgeon have an accurate assessment  of goals and expectations.  Lastly, I encourage you to seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Q: Are these two bump things between my breast normal? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. SchmidFebruary 25, 2019

A: Thanks for your question, & for including your photos, they really help! In my experience of doing thousands of breast augmentation surgeries, I’m pretty sure that those “bumps” are harmless fascial bands caused by stretching the surrounding tissue. They go away on their own, but can resolve faster with simple fingertip massage. I would def show this to your plastic surgeon at your next post op appointment. Best of luck to you!
