Dr. Mariam Awada is the founder of Michigan Cosmetic Surgery, a cosmetic surgery practices in the greater Detroit area. A board-certified plastic surgeon with 23 years experience specializing in Breast Augmentation procedures, she treats each of her patients with individualized attention and compassionate care. Using advanced technology and minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Awada strives to empower women by making them feel more confident in their bodies and provides them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about which procedures are best for them. She specializes in breast augmentation, skin tightening, mommy makeovers, body contouring, among other cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Awada graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society for her outstanding skill and commitment to excellence. She later completed her residency in general and plastic surgery at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. There, she trained with leading plastic surgeons from around the world, mastering the field’s most tried-and-true techniques while helping to develop groundbreaking procedures.
