I feel incredibly lucky to have come to Dr. Bloom for my face-and-neck lift. He is an outstanding surgeon. My result could not have been better--so natural looking while still being a wonderful improvement. Before surgery and after, Dr. Bloom listened carefully to all my concerns and was always available to answer questions. His followup care was as attentive and topnotch as his surgery. ...
No more scarfs, no more hating my own pictures. I have done neck lifting with Dr Bloom and I couldn’t be more happier with the fantastic results. Also, Dr Bloom was there for me throughout the entire process and was attentive to any needs I had. I would absolutely recommend on Dr Bloom. If you decided to do a face or neck lifting go only with the best, Dr Bloom!
I am so glad I went to Dr. Jason Bloom for my platysmaplasty and rhinoplasty. I had been self-conscious since childhood about my double chin. Even though I exercised and managed my weight, I always had a double chin. Not anymore. Whenever I see myself in the mirror or see a picture someone took of me, I feel great. It has been a year and a half since I got the procedures done. I barely...
The doctor is well known and respected. He charges a premium for his services so I would expect a near perfect outcome. My upper blepharoplasty healed nicely but I think I have "A form deformity". The lids are hollow and sunken in the inner corners of my eyes. I actually look older. The fix is simple, just add a little bit of filler to the area. He did not offer that. I would think he would as...
I had debated having a rhinoplasty for many years. Upon consultation with every facial plastic surgeon in the Philadelphia area, I knew that Dr. Bloom was the surgeon for me. Dr. Bloom was trained at one of the best ENT/Facial Plastic surgery programs in the entire country. It is highly competitive to gain entry into this program and I knew his skills would reflect this. His training was the...
A: Dysport is safe to have injected into the chin or mentalis muscle for dimpling or the peau d'orange "orange peel" look to the chin. It is an effective neuromodulator for this area. The most important thing is that you seek out an injector with a strong knowledge of the facial anatomy that can effectively treat certain muscles affected by the synkinesis and leaving others functioning to pull.
A: Absolutely! CoolSculpting does not affect triglyceride or lipid levels in the body. There have been a number of studies done when CoolSculpting was in its infancy looking at blood levels of cholesterol and other lipids before and after CoolSculpting treatment. The results of the studies showed that it is not affected by treatment.
A: It does appear from your photos that you have a bit of width to the lower part of your face, corresponding to the masseter muscle. I think some Botox to masseters will help to slim things down in that region over time. Additionally, if you grind your teeth at night or are a teeth clencher, some Botox to this area will most definitely help.
I suggest you go to see a trained doctor for evaluation and treatment of this area.
A: A RF microneedling or laser resurfacing will not affect the results or longevity of the Botox or Dysport at this point. The neuromodulator products are working on the deeper muscles of the face and are not specifically working on the skin layers, which are targeted with the RF microneedles or lasers. Feel free to ask your treating physician, but the 2 depths, layers and targets make it ok.
A: You can inject filler through the masseter muscle and onto the angle of the mandible (jaw bone) or along it in order to provide volume or definition to this area. This is the space that we use when we do mandibular angle implants or augmentation. Fillers like Restylane Lyft, Voluma and Radiesse work well in this area.
