19 days post opt panniculectomy and Im not happy with the results as well as my belly button looks horrible and looks infected only wound care instructions I was given was take shower daily and let the soap and water fall on it. Will I still have these handles on the sides, will my belly button look deformed? How soon can I do a tummy tuck?
I am 3 weeks post-op and it dawned on me that I never really knew where the drainage tubes go that were placed in me during surgery. I had a Panniculectomy and he did a fabulous job on my body, w/o taking away my curves. I am multi-racial, reside in New Orleans, & I love my curves and so does my husband! We have eight (8) beautiful children, we're 38 yo & the Panniculectomy was certainly worth it --- I just want to know where are those darn tubes placed, lol!
I had a panniculectomy done 3 weeks ago and it blistered Doctor said the skin would fall off then heal back but it started opening. I went for a 2 week check up and they saw it was starting to open but said to just use dial soap and neosporin keeping it bandaged. How bad is it now? Should I go back in or just keep cleaning and bandaging it?
What can be done to close the holes, surgery or just time? My surgeon said that I wasn't eating enough calories or getting enough protein. And now I'm eating 2500-3000 calories and drinking boost, various othe high protein shakes, eating eggs and lean meats, but I'm not sure if something can be done aside from the wet to dry dressing to fix the holes in my stomach whether by my doctor or by myself with my diet. Also, what expectations am I looking at in regards to time it takes to fully heal or close.
