I got two flat small moles removed from my face yesterday by a plastic surgeon. She removed them with a scalpel and cauterized the area with something that burned so bad, she put a bandaid on it and i went home. I noticed today that the area around my mole area is bruised and of course the mole area is red and a little sore is this mormal? How long does it take for the wound to heal?
Ive had a skin colored mole on my left hip for aslong as i remember, but yesterday i noticed it was now blood red with a dark bruise in a circle around it. It looks like a blood blister almost, but with a bruise around it. Should i be concerned? I cant seem to find any info about a bruise surrounding a mole change.
I had a precancerous mole removed 24 years ago. In the last 6 years, this had popped up multiple times. I have a scar looking flat mole one day and a black, bruised painful mole the next. The change lasts about 6 months to a year and one day it disappears. It also reappears with hours for no known reason.
A dermatologist recently removed a large portion of a possible cancerous mole on my thigh. As I was changing the bandage to follow up with the proper cleaning procedures, I noticed considerable brushing in the area with an odd pattern. Should I be concerned? What caused this?
Hiya I have quite a lot of bruising to the posterior of my toe and a little on the opposite side from my punch biopsy. It has been a week and a half now. How much longer will the bruising last? I presume this is where the local anaesthetic went in?. This is more painful than the actual wound Thanks
I got laser mole removal last year and it didnt seem to work. When it was first done it was very bruised and was dark for ages and has only started to fade now. However it is very punish in colour and there is still some pigmarnt left underneath. Would it be safe to re laser the area or is there another course of action I could take as I am unhappy with the results
