Hello, recently I have been massaging my scar tissue on a 2 year old operation site (gynecomastia) for almost 3-4 months now. I have been kind of obsessing over the lumpy scar tissue under my skin, wanting it to not be something hard when I pinch it, so I have been massaging, pinching, twisting, rolling the sight with my fingers every day. I do think it worked to a degree as of recently, and haven't been doing it the past 5 days, but I worry if i caused permanent discoloring to the skin.
i had the surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. My doc said dont smoke for at least 3 weeks. I messed up and had one cigarette after 2 weeks and 4 days. what percentage of people who get dead nipple are within the first week post op? I assume it lowers everyday after surgery?? Im healing at a decent pace Although I still have bruising and slight pain. My swelling has all but disappeared. Whats the chances 1 cig will make my nipple fall off 19 days after surgery?
Is this seroma or a hematoma or me being dumb and sleeping on my chest and just easily bruised and swollen from sleeping on it or is it i masturbated for the first time in 10 days last night or all of it. My recovery was going so well :/
I had a gyno revision about 6 weeks ago as the first opperation was not successful. The left side seems to be healing well and is flat, however the right side is still puffy and has alot of scars and scabs due to alot of bruising. The right side is fairly soft and isnt very hard. Will it correct itself. Please help
Why did I get bruising patches over my hips and shoulders..? How to remove those dark colored patches ? How long should I wear compression garment? After how many days I can carry back bag ? Thanks in advance...my surgean is least cared to answer my questions.
Hi, I am currently 16 days post op, for Lipo and gland removal. I had mild gyno. I had bruising and pain for a few days. I am still wearing my garment ( was told 2 weeks , but still wearing it only overnight because results are not showing ) Im nervous as my results are not showing , not at all, to me looks exactly the same pre-op , 16 Days post op. I dont know if its swelling, all bruising seems to be gone and I have like a hard line or lump under my breast also Please help with info
Hi I had gynecomastia and also Vaser lipo for love handles. I have been wearing compression garments for 2 weeks. The bruises are mostly gone and swelling is getting better. I feel more discomfort, pain after wearing compression for 12+ hours, especially the nipples seem to get hard and hurt. Even the waist hurts after sitting. Is it normal for the compression related discomfort to increase after 2 weeks and is it okay to temporarily remove compression for 3 to 12 hours if discomfort is there?
I do not know what the term is called, but if a guy has large breasts, similar to a women? I know that liposuction can remove the excessive fat, and also flatten the guys chest? My main concern is how much pain will I have after the liposuction, and how long will the recovery time or recovery period be, and will their be any black or blue bruising that can be visible on my chest right after the procedure?
I am a 5 days post Op. Left side is completely normal. Right has a good size hematoma with bruising and discoloration. We have set an appt for Friday to do the evacuation but i have not seen many people talk about successes or what to expect as far as bruising going away after revision surgery.
Had gynecomastia surgery 7 days ago. Recovery is going well and have been wearing compression 24/7. On about day 5 post-op there started to be bruising appearing on the left side of my groin and I took this pic. Over the last 2 days the bruising has increased in size (9cm x 6cm now) and now some bruising has appeared at the same spot on my right side and a little bit on the scrotum. This is not swollen or painful. I assume fluid has just made its way down there, but is this concerning? Thx!
