I have been to urgent care and the doctor told me it was too hard to drain. I was given pain medication but it doesn't work. I can barely move my arm. I asked if she could cut it out but she refused.
Because I have been looking into some full body procedures that would have to be done in two sessions to not cause lidocaine toxicity and am being told it is best to do it like this. Is that true or can they just not legally use general anesthesia?
I need a numbing cream that is extremely strong for an upcoming procedure. I read numbing cream comparisons on line and those recommended the most only contain 4% or 5% lidocaine. Yet Numbskin is rarely discussed and it claims to have 10.56% lidocaine. So is Numbskin in fact almost twice as high in lidocaine as other numbing creams?
Just had liposuction under a local. Pain during saline/lidocaine prep by RN was horrific. Demerol and valium never took, entire proceedure with Dr. like going through a meat grinder. Upr/lower abs, waist and hips done. Covered with black, purple and red broken blood vessels/capilaries. Under local I was aware of every rip and tear they did. Mid section skin is yellow. This is day 4, my pain has been minimal but having bowel and stomach issues if I eat now. How much of this is normal?
I was planning to have liposuction surgery, its under local and without sedation it is 90 minutes with is less, it is a revision to a prior one which left me with a deformity, when i did my ecg the machine diagnosed me with incomplete right bundle branch block, then the doctor checked and said i was fine, i also met a cardiologist who said after echo and stress its minor i read that lidocaine is a contraindication to a block online, is that true and should i go ahead? is it high risk?
I had a full tummy tuck and lipo in April 2010 and I have some areas on my hips that are kind of lumpy looking so my PS offered to do in-office lipo on those areas using lidocaine. I am on metoprolol (25 mg daily). Is this dangerous to mix the two in an office setting? I have had 2 c-sections but obviously they were in a hospital and my BP was monitored closely. Thanks!
