My first surgeon said it was gandlion cyst but he removed lipoma, but still had lump, went got a second opinion and had a mri done and doctor found volar ganglion cyst and dorsal gandlion cyst, plus severe tendonitis witch I never had that, so I had surgery, my first surgery did not do any prior testing, do you think the doctor made a bad decision
I have noticed over the past year that I have began to develop lumps at the side of my mouth which seem to be progressively getting worse. As you can see in the pictures, they are on both sides of my mouth. I would like some help identify what the issue is. They seem to be more prominent when I smile, and the extra 'fat' can be felt if I use my fingers (one inside, one outside my mouth). Ideally, I am looking for a non surgical solution to resolve this. Thanks
I went to the doctor and she said it was lipoma but I did research and it says lipoma is soft and it there is no real discomfort. Also it said you can move it under the skin but mine hurts its hard and you can't move it. Also there is a smaller bump like 2 inches underneath. What do you think it is?
I had forhead trauma 2 years ago that has resulted in me having a soft/rubbery lump on the left side of my forhead with some indentation above the lump when I apply compression to the lump it goes away but once compression is lifted it gradually starts to come back again the lump is painless i had a CT scan done that has showed no fracture of any other abnormalities. I would like to know what this could be? Is this something I could get surgically removed,? Kind regards Hassan
Hello! I have a hard lump under the skin on the back of my thigh. The lump is about the size of a chickpea, maybe slightly bigger, the skin above it is not discolored. I was told that it could be a lipoma. On an ultrasound it was visible, but when I had an MRI done, it was completely invisible. Does that exclude a lipoma? What else could it be? What kind of tissue is invisible on an MRI? What kind of lump should be removed? Thank you! (I'm female, late 20's, BMI 21)
Hello! I've had this lump at the top of my neck by my jaw that makes my jawline look a bit off. It is only on the right side of my neck. I'm not sure how long I've had it, whether it's been a few years or my whole life. It's not painful but I do feel it when I touch it and can kind of squish it around. Do you know how/if I can have it removed by some cosmetic procedure ? Or perhaps even if this may be a cause for medical concern? Thank you!
I had these 2 lump on my forehead since I was a little kid. I dont know what it is. Didn't bother me over the years but as I got older i would like to get rid of them. I'm thinking it could a cyst or some kind of osteoma. Any help to what these are?
