Hi, I stopped laser after two sessions, I do not want to continue. Now two months passed, will hair return to the same way as the first time? How long does it take to grow back as before ? Do you think hair will grow in bald patches areas? I used cynosure machine I am 32 years old , male with white skin 171 cm height 65 kg weight
I'm considering having laser hair removal and electrolysis to permanently remove all of my body hair including my genitals, and I want to know if when having laser hair removal and electrolysis on my testicles is there any danger of killing the sperm cells?
I am male & dark skinned (Fitzpatrick skin type 5). I had my beard area done with ND:YAG Cynosure Elite laser (apparently with cooling action) in 2010. It was so unbelievably painful (practitioners say it's not- but it is). Had good results. I want to get my whole body done (including private parts) but can't imagine going through that pain. I see lasers like 'Splendor X' have launched - ones that combine wavelengths of ND YAG and Alexandrite - which laser(s) is 'truly' as pain free as possible?
The 1st treatment left strange lines across my face where the laser was applied. The 2nd treatment left burn marks, red spots, rash, and infection on the treated areas.I am concerned about the red marks. Do you have any suggestions? There are lines that shows where there was treatment. Now my facial hair grows back unevenly and not aesthetically the result I expected. Is there a milder treatment that would not affect me as traumatically. looking forward to your suggestions to help me through this.
My leg and arm hair is very dense, thick and dark for my very white skin. I'd like to have almost zero hair above the knee and elbow, but I don't want to end up with bare calves and forearms. It seems most men have finer, lighter and shorter hair than me in these areas, which I like the look of. Is it true what I've read that some hair can regrow with laser removal but it will end up thinner/lighter as I want? So could I do a 'half' job on some areas and fully bare on others?
I want to have my inner thighs and anogenital area treated - but I have many dark moles there that I really do not want exposed to the laser, so I have hesitated to try laser for years. Can my moles be avoided? Can a smaller device be used to treat between them? Or can they be masked somehow? I had a consultation, but the nurse did not understand my concern. Next time, what questions should I ask about this? I tried to provide photos that show everything clearly - I hope that's OK. Thanks!
I am currently researching about laser hair removal. I am a decently hairy male. I am planning to completely remove the hair on my back, shoulders and buttocks. I would like to also greatly reduce the hair on my upper leg and upper arm so they can blend into my eventually hairless body parts. I don't want my arms to look artificial with the cutoff on the forearm or my legs on the calfs. I am not sure how to do this. Should I do one treatment on my joints then a few more on the upper parts?
I'm a male with fair skin and dark hair. I have quite a lot of coarse body hair, which I recently purchased an at-home IPL hair removal device for. I would like to pre-treat with EMLA 5% lidocaine, but read about overdose & deaths in my research. My question is: What's the safest amount of area to apply it to at a time? One whole leg? I'm rather thin and 5'7, so one leg wouldn't be too much surface area. I would do a different body part each day this way for overdose safety. Thank you!
Hi, I am 30 year old male with light skin tone and a really thick coarse beard. I decided to get laser done to remove it- the place I went to used a gentle max pro laser. It was sheer torcher and after one pass I didnt think I could continue! My hands were shaking when I was done from the shock. Its sounds dramatic but I honestly dont know how I am going to bring myself to go back? Why would this be affecting me so badly when general concensous is that there should be minimal discomfort?
Male in 30's, Fitzpatrick skin type II to III, black body hair, interested in thinning dense/long leg hair, legs are untanned. It seems I can use Alexandrite or diode, most would likely suggest Alexandrite for me. Most posts recommend >4-6 treatments, but their goal is total clearance, which I do NOT want. I want a natural appearance with reduced hair. Roughly how many sessions should I plan on, and is it possible to achieve a natural look? Maybe 2-3 sessions? Thank you in advance.
