I got a deal for a .55cc syringe of Juvederm Volbella XC, at a reputable place, to be used as lip filler. Ive yet to make my appointment or have a consultation. Im mainly focused on increasing the volume of my top lip, as my bottom lip is quite full.
2 weeks ago I went to another clinic For lip filler. She was so shocked at how the chin filler was injected so she massaged it for me. A few days ago I woke up with an incredibly swollen chin on one side. I went back to the first Injector who prescribed antibiotics (fluxocilin then doxycycline) The swelling has gone down but it feels rock hard. Now I see a little wide nodule which has formed inside my mouth. Whats happening?
I had juvederm injected into upper and lower lip. Few weeks later I had Botox injections in lower chin to help with dimpling. Few days later I'm talking funny and have a lisp. Few weeks later(two days ago) had one vial(1 cc I guess) put into my chin line. Now I really can't talk correctly and my top lip looks so horrible when I talk. Especially any S words. Hoping this wears off:( currently sitting on beach so can't add any photos just now.
I have a dimpled/sagging area below my bottom lip that makes my face look haggard, and I'm not sure how this would be treated. Would it be best to use a filler like Juvederm, or would it require mini lipo to get a smooth, undimpled appearance?
Yesterday I had a 1/2syringe of juvederm put in my subtle folds & the left side of my face near my mouth has a bit of dimple which is progressing into a very little marionette line, the doc added less then .1cc along the corner of my mouth, I dont know if its the swelling or the placement or the slight bruising but it looks off! I'm comparing to the side that doesnt have the marionette line or filler with the other side with the swelling and filler makes my face look unsymmetrical/bigger on 1 side
My medical cosmetic professional said for $900 Juvederm injections would erase the marionette lines and guaranteed the work would last at least one year. My trademark feature is natural dimples in each cheek. I don't want to use Juvederm if the treatment would freeze my dimples or make them disappear. Is this a risk? $900 may be a good price in Oklahoma City, but it's a big investment for me.
