I had one round of ipl for some brown/red spots on my legs and it did absolutely nothing...this was at a laser spa center and not performed by a doctor...I don't even know if the person used the correct settings and/or correct laser for the type of marks on my legs..several of the marks are more reddish due to me using hydroquinone cream to get rid of brown marks scars that were left over from an eczema outbreak, the hydroquinone cream burned my skin, peeled off and left redness......
Could the rash on my skin be eczema? Over the course of the winter, I have developed a rash on my face that seems to be getting worse. It started in the colder months with peeling and reddened nose and cheeks after a shower. It has slowly evolved to small reddened and raised bumps (worse after shower) that stay red all day. My skin is still peeling. I am no longer using any acids or anti aging on my skin at all. What could it be?
In February 2016, after 3 months of isotretinoin treatment I decided to try an IPL procedure, right after IPL my eyelids looked pink, but 2 days after IPL I got a terrible Eczema, my eyelids went purple. From October to December the eczema came back!, I went to my dermatologist (diagnostic contact dermatitis) he prescribed me loratadine On January, I did patch tests, there was no reaction to allergens but he told me that I had a bit irritation from PROPYLENE GLYCOL. What do I have?
I just had an IPL done to lighten the patches caused by eczema. After 2 days, I noticed that there are blisters in the areas I had laser done. I have applied solosite on the areas. Other antibiotic creams need a prescription. What should I do next? And is it normal to have blisters after IPL?
Hi, I have been using topical steroids for eczema since I was a child. I have recently noticed broken capillaries on my face and having seen a dermatologist she mentioned it was probably down to my steroid use. I am looking to have IPL to get rid of these broken veins, however someone mentioned to me that I must not use the steroid creams from 3 months prior to treatment. Is this the case?
