I did fraxel laser on August due to pimple scars ,Then Dr prescribed me facelite cream to get rid of scars. Facelite it actually destroyed my face Got white spots more on my face which looks bad..Dr prescribed me Melgain, vitshade and he told me to stop using all these and show in sunlight ,So I exposed my skin to sunlight as well...Now Dr gave me Vitshade and exposed the part in sunlight for 5 min (1.00-1.05 PM).Could anyone please help me out of this problem?
I wanted to reach out because I have noticed a trail of white dots along my forehead and down my hairline since receiving 6 fraxel treatments. I've never noticed these spots prior to laser treatments and I'm not sure how this happened? When confronting the Dr. (not dermatologist), she said it's not actually hypopigmentation, but rather my true skin tone since the fraxel targeted/removed the hyperpigmentation . I'm very worried about the damage to my skin and wanted to get a second opinion.
Hormone tests normal. What is the best treatment? For years I've used Elta MD Clear spf 46 followed by J Iredale makeup spf 20. Struggled with acne all my life. Accutane worked temporarily 15 yrs ago, but I lost 40% of my hair, and it didn't grow back. For past 8 yrs, my program is sulfer-based cleanser 2x day, duac in am, Tazorac pm. Pigment issues for 3 yrs now. Also use Quantum Healing Laser's Blue light for acne for about a year, but only on my jawline and nose. I eat right and exercise.
