The string/floss technique actually worked! I couldn't believe that after months, repeatedly picking at it, and excessive blood loss, I began the string for about a week (clean it regularly and I kept a cotton pad dipped in ACV on it to help kill the flesh and dry out the keloid) extremely tight then looping the excessive string around it as well to help strangulation of the keloid. It turned purple then black then started to shrink and dry out. The ACV also acts as an astringent similar to the tea tree. It wasn't excruciatingly painful but uncomfortable. Keloid separated from my flesh and came right off with no pain. TMI but my keloid was in a more personal area caused by waxing so careful ladies. Just make sure to massage the area as well to help break down scar tissue so the keloid doesn't return. Good luck!
