What do I really need to know?

By Real self newbie on 06 Aug 2012

I am looking for the info only someone on the 'other side' can give (the stuff the surgeons don't and can't tell you).  Any tips and realities for immediately post breast lift with augmentation as well as for the long haul.  The good, the bad and the ugly along with any hindsight that make the experience the best it can be! Thanks!

Have someone there to help is huge. My husband was a dream in recovery. Two days post-op, my 19yr old daughter even put on her swimsuit and showered w/me. Washed my hair and expoliated my back. Great help for the first week is awesome. I am 3 wks post op lift/implants. Another thing I'm still learning I that one side heals different than the other. Oh..and most importantly....KEEP UP ON MEDS FOR THE FIRST 4-5 DAYS. Huge difference. I never was in pain. Discomfort, yes, pain..never! Good luck
