severe chest pain radiating to back

By sissy42 on 25 Feb 2013

I had my first botox injections for severe migraines, about 25 injections.....then 5 days later, I had severe chest pains that radiated to my back between my shoulder blades. Honestly, I didn't even think about the botox, I thought I was having a heart attack. I chewed an asprin and had my husband take me to the ER. After testing, x-ray, and ultrasound they confirmed that I had gallstones, and the pain was a gallbladder attack, and the symptoms were very common for gallbladder. I didn't think much about it. They gave me some strong pain med via IV, daludid; and the pain went away. The next day, my neck hurt so bad, mainly the right side, and become excruiating when I bend forward. ANYONE HAD THESE SIDE EFFECTS FROM BOTOX? WHAT SHOULD I DO? I have an appointment on Thursday with a surgeon to have my gallbladder removed.

I'm so sorry to hear what happened to you. I can imagine that must have been pretty scary.

Here are a couple of reviews where others have mentioned chest pain:
