At what point can I bra shop??!

The coordinator at my PS' office said my size is not going to change at this point (I am 4 weeks post op) but they will change shape a little and become more natural. Does this mean I have the green light to go bra shopping??!   My PS uses drains and I have been taking Arnica and Bromelain plus using Arnica gel and cream.

I just got the green light at 4 weeks to bra shop. I had a MM & BA on 12/26. Went with 450cc high profile silicone through my underarm. Which I love! No scars on my breasts. PS said no bra at all for 4 weeks. No sports bra, nothing. I could wear a non-shelf cami which helped with my binder on stomach. They dropped right into the pocket and I think are looking very natural. I'm finding it hard to find bras - have to try on EVERYTHING first for fit. Sometimes I'm a 36D, 36DD, and even 36DDD I was measured in the bra dept at Macys, and she thought I was a 36C. Which I can't even begin to get into! It's like starting all over..... I did buy a couple of 36D's before surgery out of excitement, and looks like I will be ebaying those.... lol. Good luck! You look fabulous.

Be sure to try on EVERYTHING before you buy.... you are starting all over finding bras you like to wear. Especially the everyday ones. It is so exciting! Easy to go overboard! Lol!

what are you currently wearing? I was in a surgerical bra for couple of weeks then a really supportive sportsbra, its been about 2 mos and I jut got fitted for a regular softcup bra. I guess you are about at the point you could go bra shopping but I woudl not go crazy with bras as yours will/ are changing still

I have been wearing sports bras .. A variety of them lol. My new BFF at my PS' office said that at this point my boobs won't get any smaller but they would change shape and look more natural. I guess I will wait until next weekend or maybe the weekend after lol

that sounds like a plan I was told just don't go over board as your breasts will change and certain bras you can wear now may not fit well ina few months. This is all new to me so I just thought I would pass along to you. Hate for you to go buy bras that in a couple of months may not fit well

Ames - I tried on bras the other day .. out of 10 bras, I bought 1. I'm 6 weeks post op today. I'm thinking of splurging at Nordy's sometime in the next few weeks. ;) xoxo
