just wondering if anyone has ever filed a complaint against their doctor with a state medical board, and if so, how did it go?

HI,
I live in NJ. If you go to appellate court NJ, they have a pro se kit where you can appeal it yourself without a attorney

You can appeal to Appellate Division. There is a pro se kit.

I agree there alot of honest ethical plastic surgeons. Unfortunately I didn't pick that one.

I am so glad that you all have stood up to the professions who wear the white coats and stethoscopes.
For one they are always trying to intimidate patients and they can be so insensitive even after major surgeries and they get away with so much because we as patients do not say anything so they continue to treat people the way they do. So I commend all who do something about what the doctor's are doing so someone else does not have to suffer what you have.

I would like to comment that all doctors are not rude and crude and insensitive and have bad bedside manners. But the few that are give them all a bad reputation. It's just like the police department not all cops are bad but the ones that are give the rest a bad reputation!

You can file with NY State Medical board if that is where the Doctor is from. You can get complaint forms right online.

I also have a complaint with regard to a face/necklift and eye lid procedures. In a word it is the opinion of other MD's and all close to me that this was a failed operation. My PS is unwilling to do anything for me. I believe the pre and post photos indicate the neck bands that never existed prior to the procedure. Can you advise where you sent your complaint? I am $20,000.00 out of pocket for NOTHING.

Hi,
What state do you live in? I filed with the NJ state medical board. Your right they are all Medical doctor protecting each other. My case was sided with the doctor. However I will file an appeal and fight to end.
