My left is much more "loose" than my right. I am assuming this is due to me being right handed and my chest muscles being so much tighter on the right. Are you doing the massage?

I feel like my one implant is squeaking around. I know that sounds weird, but I feel like it's moving a lot and driving me crazy with this sensation! Any thoughts?

I finally got to shower! My husband removed the tegaderm and the pain pumps catherters. It was pretty painless except for the tape pulling my skin. I am still stained blueish and have some faint writing on my chest. I think he used a sharpie : ) I got to really see them in the mirror. I love them. I know they will go through some changes over the next couple of months but so far they are GREAT! I got to take off the surgical bra and move on to a sports bra which is much more comfortable. I haven't taken any pain meds all day and have done a few little things around my house like loading the dishwasher tidying up ect. I held my baby in my lap for awhile today without pain but still can't really lift him. I can't wait to see how things look in a couple of weeks. Are you getting excited yet?

I have my first post op visit tomorrow. I'm really excited to see what the my PS has to say. I'm still wearing a ace bandage wrap, I'm hoping to throw that thing away tomorrow and move onto something else. Every PS is so different, I'm hoping for a sports bra tomorrow. My boobs look great and my hubby is LOVING them. I'm still adjusting to having boobs. I think they are huge, but my mom says they look great. I think I'm just so use to them hanging. : ) I will hopefully report back tomorrow with great news. I'm glad that you are doing so well. Just an FYI I think day 5 could have been one of my worst days b/c I over did it the day before. Just be careful! Thanks for checking in.

YEAH! I'm so happy you are feeling good. Now the hard part, taking it easy even when you think you're feeling okay. Have a good day of rest and I'll check in with you tonight.

It has been 12 hours since my surgery. I am feeling really good! I expected way more pain than I have. I wouldn't even call it pain, just tightness and discomfort. Last night about 11pm I took 1/2 a percocet and that has controlled my pain. I am thinking about taking another one, just to help me sleep. I don't sleep well on my back propped up. I don't even really remember waking up from the anesthesia. I was most worried about waking up in extreme pain and nausea but neither happened. I haven't really seen my boobs yet, but the sneak peak under my bra was very pretty! I think I am going to be thrilled with my results. The size seems perfect!

Good luck tomorrow! I'm so excited for you. I think you will do great with just having the pain pump. The 2 days I did take the pain meds I just didn't feel right. I will be praying for you tomorrow. Make sure you update here when you feel up to it!

Mama I am so glad recovery is going so great for you! Tomorrow is my day! I amm not as nervous as I thought I would be, more excited than anything! Especially after hearing how well things are going for you. My main concern is pain control. I really can't take narcotics but I am having a Marcaine pump so hopefully that takes care of those few really painful days.

Recovery is going awesome! I can't believe how great I feel. I had surgery Thurs. and used my meds on Thurs and Fri. But Sat switched to tylenol and went to 2 basketball games. I came home took a valium and went to sleep. But went back to the gym Sunday for more games. Yesterday I didn't do much. I wanted to do laundry and clean the bathrooms, but my hubby is being great and won't let me. Even though I'm feeling so good, he doesn't want me to use my pec muscles too much. My boobs are still sore when I get up, but not bad at all. I still have some swelling, but I'm planning on laying on the couch and reading and drinking water most of the day so hopefully that will help. I really can't believe how easy the surgery and recovery have been for me. I was so scared....And still think I'm a tad on the large side, but I think when the swelling is completely gone I will love them!!!! Let me know if there is any specific you'd like to know. You only have 2 more days!!!!!!!! You can always message me if you want to keep it private. Doesn't matter to me. Good luck and stay away from all the bad info on the internet!

Your story is making me feel alot less anxious! How old are your children?

Bruglj- I have 4 kids 11, 9, 8, and 7. So they are old enough to help out a little. I was up yesterday morning to pack lunches and get them on the bus. My kids have no idea what I did so they just think I'm not feeling that great. But this morning I'm feeling really good. I was able to sleep through the night (on the coach with lots of pillows). My kids have basketball games today and I think I might venture out and watch one or two of them. We'll see, I don't want to over do it, but I want to keep life as normal as possible for the kids. My biggest concern is what to wear. The boobs are pretty swollen and I'm not quite ready to show them off yet. Hope you have a good weekend! Stay busy and stay of the internet! You will be fine. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I didn't have a pain pump and it's been fine. I had an anti nausea patch behind my ear before surgery and they gave me some extra anti nausea when I woke up. I was taking just one pain pill every 4 hours, but recently just switched to extra strength Tylenol. I also have a muscle relaxer that I just took now for sleeping. Today was a good day. I spent it laying on the coach catching up on my dvr'd shows. My boobs were the most sore when I had to get off the coach. But not bad at all. I
Think you will do just fine.

I am so glad your surgery went great! Do you have a Marcaine pump? My tummy doesn't get along well with narcotics so I have opted for the pump and narcotics with antinausea meds if needed. I can't believe this will be by last weekend with no chest! Yipppeee! Post some before and after pictures if you feel comfortable with that. I would love to see the end result.

Thanks! Everything went great! I thought I'd be really anxious yesterday morning, but I was just really excited. I was definitely really tired and out of it last night from pain meds. But this morning I'm feeling way better. My boobs are definitely sore, but not near as painful as I was expecting. From what I can tell my boobies are gonna look great!!! I'm so excited for you. 6 more days!

I too am really anxious about being put under! But, my husband is keeping me really motivated and excited about the outcome. That helps me not focus on the actual procedure. I am 5'4" 100lbs, 32AA now having Mentor 325 filled to 350cc salines placed under the muscle. I am still worried a little about recovery as I have a 5 month old baby that obviously needs me. My hubby is taking a week off, hopefully, I am good to go by his return to work.

Hi bruglj3316! My BA is scheduled for Feb 16. 3 more days!!! I'm really excited, but starting to get a little anxious. I think just being a mom of 4 kids makes me anxious about being put under. I've never had surgery so that scares me. But I can't wait for my boobs to be full again. : ) I'm 35 years old, 5'10" tall, and weigh 160 pounds, I am getting 500 cc saline implants.

Hi mama! We have the same surgery date and I am very close to your stats (38yo, 5'11", 150lbs, 450cc HP silicone). I have also had 3 children. I have already had a tummy tuck back in 2006, but now it's time to concentrate on the girls!!

Happy Valentines Day to us! 2 more days! I can't believe it. I really need to get busy today and get this house clean and laundry done. So how was the recovery from your tummy tuck? I was thinking of doing that too, but chickened out and just decided to start with the boobs.
